Art Annex CT Presents Amy Schott Solo Show “Shadowboxing” in Downtown South Norwalk from June 3 to June 26 – Preview Night June 2

A new exhibition, “Shadowboxing: Mixed Media Art by Amy Schott” will be on view June 3 through June 26, 2022 at 132A Washington Street in South Norwalk. Presented by Art Annex CT, the gallery will feature Amy Schott’s solo work which mixes antique items with wire to form layers of colorful images in multidimensional shadow boxes. There will be a Preview Night on Thursday, June 2 from 5 to 7 pm. After that, gallery hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 3 pm to 7 pm or by appointment. Meet the Artist Opening of Ben Larrabee Photography "In the Moment"

Photos from the Meet the Artist opening on a late summer evening – thanks to all who attended the event! The show "In the Moment" at 1027 Post Road in Darien (right next to Grieb's Pharmacy) runs September 16 through September 30, 2021. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10 am to 3 pm. We're thrilled to return to the lovely gallery space at 1027 Post Road in Darien (right next to Grieb's Pharmacy) to present Ben Larrabee Photography "In the Moment." From moving day to installation, it was a labor of love for all involved. The show runs through September 30, 2021. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10 am to 3 pm. Ben Larrabee Photography Show September 16, 2021 through September 30, 2021

A new exhibition, “In the Moment,” will be on view September 16 through September 30 at 1027 Post Road in Darien. Presented by Art Annex CT, the gallery will feature Ben Larrabee’s fine art and portrait photography.  Larrabee’s goal as a photographer is to be authentic and honest, not merely different. This approach is based on letting go of his expectations and assumptions – to use the photographic experience as a way of finding truth and connection.  He earned a B.F.A. in Photography at the Rhode Island School of Design and a Masters degree of Fine Arts in graphic design from Yale University.  Larrabee says, “I am pleased to bring a collection of my work into this gallery space right in downtown Darien, my home since 1988. Britt Bair's "Babbling Brook" Artist Talk @ HAYVN Coworking Space

Last fall, Britt Bair loaned her painting "Babbling Brook" as part of the RAC @ HAYVN exhibition in the lobby of this coworking space in Darien, CT at 320 Post Road.  Members of the Rowayton Arts Center (RAC) have been participating in group shows since its opening two years ago. As with all things 2020, RAC filmed a virtual Artists Talk to share since group events were on hold. Watch the video on Vimeo here to learn more about Britt's process creating her abstract expressionist paintings.  This piece is now part of Britt's solo show "Expressions in Color" until July 6 at 1027 Post Road, Darien right next to Grieb's Pharmacy.
