RAC @ HAYVN

Beyond the hustle and bustle of overseeing and promoting monthly exhibitions at the Rowayton Arts Center (RAC), an opportunity to have RAC artists show in the lobby of the new HAYVN in Darien, CT presented itself as the coworking space opened the spring of 2019. Jane knew the founder Felicia Rubenstein over the years with kids on the Darien Sailing Team but it was chatting in the locker room at the local YMCA that sealed the deal. Felicia was looking to have local artists fill the space and Jane was happy to bring RAC artists over the border.  Andrea would suggest a group of artists every few months and together they hung the artwork and presented Artists Talk evenings when people were allowed to gather. A virtual Artist Talk replaced the in person event, which can be viewed at the RAC vimeo account here . Presenting solo shows for local artists in vacant store fronts is a natural progression for Jane and Andrea as Art Annex CT. For more info email artannexct.com and follow @artan...
