Excited to share the news about the opening of Ronnie Gold's solo show "Color Burst: Pastels and Paintings" presented by Art Annex CT Thursday, October 23 from 5 to 7 pm. COVID regulations apply. This is the first solo show for Ronnie Gold. Ronnie paints in pastel, acrylic and water-based oil. Her work is primarily non-objective and abstract, although nature is often a point of departure as well as inspiration for her work. Color becomes the central force as Ronnie works through a painting with the play of mark making and gestural lines adding texture to the surface. She is also passionate about the medium of pastel as it allows her to work intuitively and spontaneously.
