Photos from the "Meet the Artist" Opening on a balmy autumn evening – gallery is open now Friday 12 to 5 pm this weekend Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 1 pm through November 20, 2020.

Here is Ronnie Gold unlocking the front door plus before and after after photos of her solo show, "Color Burst: Pastel and Paintings" at 112 Rowayton Avenue (corner of McKinley Street Rt 136) in Rowayton, CT. This pop up show opens October 22 and runs through November 20, 2020.  Gallery Hours will be Tuesday through Friday 12 to 5 pm as well as weekends on Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 1 pm.

Ronnie Gold Solo Show October 22 through November 20, 2020

Excited to share the news about the opening of Ronnie Gold's solo show "Color Burst: Pastels and Paintings" presented by Art Annex CT Thursday, October 23 from 5 to 7 pm. Meet the artist and enjoywater views at 112 Rowayton Avenue, Rowayton CT (corner of McKinley Street, parking available across the street or in the Fairfield County Bank parking lot). COVID regulations apply. This is the first solo show for Ronnie Gold. Ronnie paints in pastel, acrylic and water-based oil. Her work is primarily non-objective and abstract, although nature is often a point of departure as well as inspiration for her work. Color becomes the central force as Ronnie works through a painting with the play of mark making and gestural lines adding texture to the surface. She is also passionate about the medium of pastel as it allows her to work intuitively and spontaneously.  Ronnie earned a BFA from University of Colorado and attended Tyler School of Art in Rome, Italy.
